She grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. For undergrad, she moved to the U.S. and double majored in Genetics and Arts &amp; Humanities at Michigan State University. After graduating in 2023, Dila moved to Boston and worked as a research technician in the Jacks Lab at MIT, where she studied pancreatic cancer biology. Now, her research focuses on pancreatic cancer and chromosomal instability.<br> <br><br></p> <ul> <li>Outside the lab, she has been dancing since 4 years old and loves taking dance classes around NYC. She also loves reading, finding great food spots, and exploring the city with friends!</li> </ul>
